Statement from UG Solutions Regarding Target Terrorist Attack on Our Personnel
This morning, two American members of the UG Solutions team in Gaza were injured in a targeted terrorist attack while distributing aid at the Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) site in Khan Younis. No local workers or civilians were harmed in the attack.
UG Solutions personnel received medical care and are in stable condition. The injuries are not life threatening.
UG Solutions echoes what our partner GHF has repeatedly said in their warnings of credible threats against American personnel, Palestinian aid workers, and the Gazan civilians receiving aid from GHF sites. In fact, twelve local workers assisting the effort have been killed by Hamas terrorists, while others have been tortured and injured. Today’s attack is yet again a confirmation that those threats are indeed real.
UG Solutions remains committed to the safe delivery of aid in Gaza and will remain steadfast in our partnership with GHF, our local partners and the people of Gaza.
UG Solutions personnel are comprised of America’s best—men and women who have lived lives of service and sacrifice. To date, they have secured the delivery of over 60 million meals to Gazans. We will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with those in need despite the risks.

Yesterday, the AP ran a story and posted a video that included several false accusations, lies and speculative, unsupported accusations provided by a disgruntled former contractor, who is retaliating after we removed him from our mission for behavior that was below our high standards. In response, and in the interest of transparency, we are releasing two full, unedited videos about the incident – the full video the AP share (not just the clip which fed their false narrative) and a second video which shows the events immediately following. These videos not only clarify what happened, but provide critical context, which contradicts that AP’s reporting and shows that the accusations are unfounded.
When the AP first came to us with these allegations, we asked to see the video in question, and they refused. If they had shared it with us, we would have immediately been able to debunk it. But for reasons only they can explain – and which we believe are below the threshold of journalistic standards – they did not. Their irresponsible reporting amounts to gossip mongering and is disappointing, to say the least. We hope that other journalists will set a higher bar for themselves and their sources moving forward.
Finally, because we have been receiving numerous press inquiries related to the AP’s reporting, we are sharing a full FAQ below, to set the record straight.
On May 27 the first distribution executed by UG Solutions was described by at least one contractor as a “complete failure” with hungry Palestinians rushing the gate, climbing over the walls and taking everything. Any comment?
We expected distribution to be chaotic and it was. That’s the reality of trying to feed starving people. Our job is to feed them safely, which is what we did, and we continue to adapt to a changing daily environment.
Since May 27, UG Solutions has failed to put in place a method to track who is getting aid and how much. Is this an accurate representation of the challenges faced by the operation? If not, why not?
In Gaza, no aid distributions are happening in an orderly fashion. Once food security is restored to Gaza, GHF will begin to put greater controls in place on aid distribution, but until the population has food security any effort to do so would be overwhelmed and overrun as is happening with all aid deliveries across Gaza at present.
On May 29, a UG Solutions fired into a crowd of Palestinians at site 4. It was supposed to be a warning shot but he shot into the crowd and a man was seen falling to the ground. The contractor said “Woohoo, Hell yeah boy” and a second contractor said, “Damn I think you got one.” Is this accurate?
Absolutely not. Our first priority is the security of everyone at our sites. No Gazans have been shot at by the GHF team, period.
The contractor heard in the video encouraging IDF fire was disciplined for this behavior and subsequently fired.
A UG Solutions contractor complained to management at the command center that this was illegal. The contractor has said that managers witnessed the shooting on camera at the command center. But nothing was done. Is this accurate?
This is absolutely false, just as the claim above is false. There was no shooting. We have directly spoken with the people named in this situation and all confirm this never happened. Further, the UG Solutions manager named was not even in this role on May 29th, further undermining the credibility of the source’s claims.
On June 10, an IDF official ordered a UG Solutions contractor to shoot at three children who appeared to be under the age of 10 for climbing onto a wall. The contractor refused. A UG Solutions leader reprimanded the contractor for telling the client (the IDF) no. The contractor asked if he was supposed to shoot the children and said he was quitting because their behavior was criminal and illegal. Is this accurate?
This is a wildly provocative and completely false allegation that has been confirmed with multiple sources to be wholly inaccurate. Any allegation to the contrary is libelous and we expect to be escalated legally. There are multiple sources who will confirm this is total and utter nonsense.
Has UG Solutions threatened former employees with unspecified actions if they speak out about their experiences?
No. UG Solutions takes all claims seriously and operates with the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. We have an internal process in place that allows any personnel to report concerns or incidents through appropriate channels. Every report is fully investigated, and action is taken when warranted. We do not ignore issues — we resolve them through fact-based, fair, and lawful means.
